The Rose

Some say love,
It is a river
That drowns the tender reed.

It is a razor
That leaves your soul to bleed.

It is a hunger,
An endless aching need.
I say love,
It is a flower,
and you’re it's only seed.

It's the heart,
Afraid of breaking,
That never learns to dance.
It's the dream,
Afraid of waking,
That never takes a chance.
It's the one
Who won't be taken,
Who cannot seem to give.
And the soul,
Afraid of dyin',
That never learns to live.

When the night has been too lonely,
And the road has been too long,
And you think that love is only
For the lucky and the strong,
Just remember
In the winter
Far beneath the bitter snows,
Lies the seed,
That with the sun's love,
In the spring becomes the rose.

有人说，爱是条河

容易将柔弱的芦苇淹没

有人说，爱是把剃刀

会任由你的灵魂淌血

有人说，爱是种饥渴

一种无尽的带痛的需求

我说，爱是一朵花

而你，只是花的种籽

 

害怕破碎的心

永远学不会跳舞

害怕醒来的梦

永远没有机会

不愿吃亏的人

不懂得付出

忧心死亡的灵魂

不懂得生活

 

当夜显得寂寞不堪

去路显得无尽漫长

当你觉得只有幸运者

及强者才有幸得到爱

谨记，在严寒的冬日里

酷雪的覆盖下，躺着一颗种籽
